A Tritibute to Nader Khalili
http://www.calearth.org/khalili.htm

The first time I heard the name Nader Khalili was in the
Dehkhoda library on Westwood Blvd., the year 2000. Mr.
Yazdi, the founder, told me I had to visit Nader Khalili. I ran
a search on him and he was on the front page of Space.com
where I also had an email account. I was simply amazed by
his discovery and thrilled that I had been born in the same
city in Iran as he was. Tehran is a beautiful city and Nader
Khalili revived my wonderful memories of Tehran of the 60s
and 70s.

I wrote to him about Persian water management or Ghanaat
and Solar technologies and talked to him on the phone at 2am
Amsterdam which was 5pm California time and he welcomed
me so dearly that I was there one week ahead of the time that
we had arranged to meet in his base in California.

When we met, he told me about Dancing the Flame that
would be coming out soon.

I requested Dancing the Flame once from Amsterdam via
telephone and once from Vienna through the Universty
Campus book store.

The first film I made with Dancing the Flame, I jammed with
Rumi in original Pahlavi and Neek's Piano and Udo's Flute in
Vienna's 5th district Municipal Gallery, the second film in
Sankt Polten by the water spring. The third film I made with
Nader Khalili's translation in English in Amsterdam. I put
the film on a DVD and send it to him by post. I am glad that
he liked it. He said that he liked my style to my associate
producer Neek on the phone when we called him to say hi and
thank you again for all the great knowledge that you shared
with us.

I always wanted to know how to make a decent and safe roof
and Nader Khalili was the wise Architect to teach me his
way. To me he is always alive just like Rumi is. "Have you
ever seen a seed fallen to earth and not rise with new life,
why should you doubt the rise of a seed named human?"
is the best line by Rumi and Nader Khalili, and I want all
his family and friends to remember him by it.

Love, Care and Respect,
Anahita Mitraa Minuvash, Solar Queen of Iran Persia
